Invitation to Performing Arts Groups for FACP 2024 Conference in Xi’an, China

The 40th Annual Conference of the Federation of Asian Cultural Performers (FACP), hosted in Xi’an, China, invites artists to perform at the AGA Gala as part of the conference events. Performances are scheduled for October 26, 2024. All Governors are encouraged to recommend artists whose performance at the AGA Gala will creatively showcase traditional performing arts innovatively.

 PERFORMANCE CONDITIONS 

​

1. A total of 6-8 AGA groups will be chosen by the Program Committee: 4-6 groups from overseas and 2-4 groups from the host city.
2. Each performance will be limited to 10 to 15 minutes. Please note that the reset time between performances will be limited to 5 minutes. A 2-hour rehearsal will be provided before the performance. Each team must assign one member as an administrative and technical coordinator and arrange its own on-site technical executive staff.
3. All shortlisted groups will receive 2 Full Passes to the 2024 FACP Annual Conference in Xi'an.
4. Travel subsidy for artists: The FACP Xi’an Annual Conference Organizing Committee will subsidize USD 500 per person, up to USD 2,000 per group as a travel subsidy (tax included) which will be paid after the performance in November.

2. The name of your referee (at least one FACP Governor).
3. Proposal in English (10 pages, 10 MB max, file name: AGA2024FACP_Title) including the following items:
    (1) Concept & Scale
    (2) Outline & featured ideas
    (3) Artist/group profile 
    (4) Minimum technical requirement
4. Artist/group photos in high resolution (3-5 images, 10 MB max)
5. Video recording of the performance submitted via Shared link (optional).

September 16 - September 30: Pre-tour meeting
October 23-25: Load in & rehearsal
October 26: Performance
