2025 Asian Gems in the Arts (AGA)
Open Call
The 41st FACP Annual Conference, hosted by Bucheon Arts Center, Bucheon, Korea, is inviting artists to perform at the AGA Gala as part of the Conference event. Performances will be scheduled on October 17, 2025. All Governors are invited to recommend a group to perform in the AGA Gala that will successfully demonstrate traditional performing arts in innovative ways.
PERFORMANCE
Performance Conditions
There will be a total of 5 AGA groups chosen by the Program Committee, 3 groups from overseas and 2 groups from Korea.
Each performance will be limited to 15 to 20 minutes. Please noted that the reset time between two performances will be limited to 5 minutes. The rehearsal before the performance will be 2 hours. Each team must assign one member as administrative and technical coordinator and arrange its own on-site technical executive staff.
All the shortlisted groups will receive 1 free Full Pass to the Conference.
A fee of USD500 per person is paid after the performance in October, a maximum of USD2,000 per group (i.e. larger groups exceeding 4 people will cover any cost exceeding USD2,000 by themselves), tax included.
Venue and Technical Information
AGA performance will be mainly performed in the Bucheon Arts Center. However, the host will arrange the performance venues and spaces according to the chosen groups.
SUBMISSION
1. All materials should be submitted online.
2. The name of your referee (at least one FACP Governor).
3. Proposal in English (under 10 pages, 10 MB max, file name: AGA2025FACP_Title) including the following items:
(1) Concept & Scale
(2) Outline & featured ideas
(3) Artist / group profile
(4) Minimum technical requirement
4. Artist / group photo in high resolution (3-5 images, each 1 MB,10 MB max)
5. Video recording of the performance is a MUST and preferably submitted via Shared link.
