Introduction

 

The FACP has long been committed to connecting arts professionals across the Asian-Pacific region. This year, the FACP Secretariat goes hand in hand with FACP Team 2023 in presenting to you the vibrant cultural scene of Taiwan, the host of FACP 2023 Annual Conference!

 

The artistic environment in Taiwan features international vision, diversity and a rich cultural heritage. The performing arts venues in Taiwan are not only a place where performances are presented, but also a friendly public space upholding the spirit of openness, accessibility, creativity and sustainability.

 

Venues currently run by the Taipei governors of FACP are:

 

• National Taichung Theatre – Joyce CHIOU, Chairperson of FACP & General and Artistic Director of National Taichung Theater

• National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) – Wen-pin CHIEN, Executive and Artistic Director of Weiwuying

• Taipei Performing Arts Center – Austin WANG, Chief Executive Officer of TPAC

• CLT Banqiao Tech & Art Center – Hsiu-wei LIN, Producer and Administrative Director of Contemporary Legend Theatre

 

In addition to Weiwuying, the FACP 2023 Annual Conference co-host, you have the opportunity to take part in more venue tours / gatherings especially organised for FACP members during your stay across the island of Taiwan!
