FACP CONFERENCE 2015 – OUTLINE

The Seoul conference committee has shared with us the following information : 1. Date : 19 Aug (Wed)-22 Aug (Sat) 2015. 2. Theme : Industrial (commercial) Perspective and Vision of Asian Performing Arts. 3. Venue : Chungmu Art Hall in Seoul. 4. Conference will coincide with - Seoul Musical Festival (17-24 Aug) and Musical Film Festival (20-23 Aug). 5. Conference fees : US$280 + US$100 membership fee. 6. There will be simultaneous interpretation for English, Japanese and Chinese. 7. Hotels are Grand Ambassador Seoul and Best Western New Seoul Hotel. Schedule : a. 19/8 - Day 1 – Governors meeting and dinner + musical gala show. b. 20/8 - Day 2 – session 1+2 – keynote and opening speech + dinner + SMF events (Seoul Musical Festival). c.  20/8 - Day 2 - Session 3+4 - speech and discussion + AGA* (1 from Korea, 2 from abroad). d. 21/8 - Day 3 – Session 5+6 speech and discussion. e. 21/8 - Day 3 - Session 7+8 – case study and short speech + AGA (1 from Korea, 2 from abroad). f.  22/8 - Day 4 – Governors meeting and closing‎. Notes : * Speakers – will be paid airfares and accommodation. Fees may be payable according to stature / position of the invitee - to be decided by the Seoul committee. *AGA performance subsidy – for groups from abroad only (maximum 4 groups) – each person in group is subsidized US$500 up to a maximum of US$2,000 per group. Groups to be selected by the Seoul committee. (Application forms will be sent out in due course) *Advertising booths at the musicals festivals may be available free of charge for all FACP members.
